A little about me…I was raised in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama and am still here raising my three daughters with my husband. I went to the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and received my bachelors of science in nursing degree. I went on to practice nursing for 13 years until I found myself home with three very small children during covid. In the summer of 2020, I was feeling like a fish in a bowl and ordered a watercolor kit off Amazon to give me an outlet while the kids were napping. This was the start of me really wanting to learn how to paint. I dove headfirst into watching every YouTube tutorial I could find and read as many books as I could, just wanting to know more about this craft. I am self-taught and have grown over the years to use all different kinds of media. I love being in nature and frequently take my kids to explore the outdoors and this is my main source of inspiration. I slowly started sharing my art on Instagram, which led me to some amazingly supportive contacts. From there, I have had the privilege of working with designers from across the country, had several collections in galleries in Alabama, and been able to support philanthropic organizations through my art. my hope is that I use this gift that the Lord has given me to glorify Him and His creation. I am eternally grateful for every person who has supported me and each piece I have had the honor of creating. thank you for being here.
